Participants are guided through crafting puppets, designing their costumes,manipulating their movements, and even writing scripts, culminating in productions directed by the trainees themselves.
The El-Pergola Puppet Theatre has collaborated with numerous esteemed organizations to bring these workshops to life. In Egypt, partnerships include CARE International, Tahrir Lounge at the Goethe Institute, and the Pergola Forum Culture Centre. In Berlin, the theatre has worked with institutions such as Volkshochschule, El-Geera Association, Jerusalem Association, Bürgerhaus, and Diwan.
